We are excited to announce that the registration for the CIE 2025 Midterm Meeting in Vienna, Austria, is now open! Taking place from July 4-11, 2025, this highly anticipated event will feature the CIE Scientific Conference (July 7–9, 2025), with the Welcome Reception hosted by the City of Vienna on the evening of July 6 at the historic Vienna City Hall. The three-day scientific conference will bring together the CIE community and its stakeholders to discuss key advancements in the science and technology of light and lighting. At the conference, we will cover a wide range of topics across all six CIE Scientific Divisions, including light and health, digitalization in metrology, light pollution, the impact of AI on lighting, controls, and measurement, along with many other relevant subjects. As part of the Scientific Conference, we will host a series of workshops covering wide range of important topics from the CIE divisions, with several workshops exploring topics from multiple disciplines. The Scientific Conference will be followed by the CIE Division and Technical Committee (TC) meetings on July 10-11, 2025. If you would like to listen to some of the topics CIE is currently working on and gain insights into the work of our Technical Committees (TC), you may also choose to stay and attend the Division & TC meetings. Registration for these meetings is integrated into the main conference registration system.
