The IV International Scientific International and technical Conference “Light in Museum” will be held at the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg on April 27-29, 2026.
The conference "Light in Museum" was founded by the State Hermitage Museum and the Scientific and Technical Council of the Lighting Industry of the Russian Federation in 2018. Dedicated to topical issues of light and lighting in museums, restoration workshops and storage facilities, the Conference is an open platform for constructive dialog between the lighting and museum professional communities.
Dr. Diana Wernisch, CIE Secretary General, will deliver a welcome message, followed by an online presentation from CIE Vice-President Technical and President-Elect Tony Bergen.
Registration
As in previous years, participation in the conference will be free with mandatory registration on the conference website. Participation is available both in person and online. The number of in-person places is limited. Register here
