CIE Research Strategy Launched: The CIE has developed a list of topics which require investment and research to ensure that current and future technologies that involve or incorporate light and lighting are supported by accurate and up-to-date information. CIE Tutorial and 4th CIE Symposium on Colour and Visual Appearance, September 5 to 7, 2016,  Prague, Czech Republic. This will be followed by Technical Committee Meetings on September 8 and the Division 1 Annual Meeting on September 9.
