- *Note for 10.2
- It is important that the activities and outputs of D2 are relevant to
- the needs of users, be they NMIs, industry, other CIE Divisions etc. In
- the past Division activities have been concentrated around the
- preparation of Technical Reports, and this should clearly be a key
- activity in the future. However the Division has increasingly become
- involved in initiatives such as CIE Symposia and Tutorials, which are
- aimed at specific target groups. Such activities may play an
- increasingly important role into the future. Agenda item 10.2 is
- intended to give an opportunity to discuss the future direction of the
- Division and it would be helpful to have as wide a range of proposals as
- possible to feed into this discussion. Please come prepared to
- contribute your views and opinions on this important issue.
