The Statutes and By-Laws are the official documents in which the administrative structure and way of working of CIE is laid down. The Code of Procedures gives especially for the Divisions and Technical Committees detailed guidelines of how to work within the Divisions and Technical Committees of CIE. CIE offers a set of electronic authoring tools to support the preparation of CIE Technical Reports (TR) and Draft Standards (DS). Their purpose is to simplify the drafting of reports and standards by providing document "skeletons" that incorporate a range of predefined stylistic and structural rules. A "How-to-use" section with instructions on the use of the template, as well as a sample page of the included styles can be also found in these sample files.
